"The Cellar"

The Cellar is a room.

"[if the cellar is unvisited]The year is 1243 A.D.

 You awaken on the stone floor of a damp and dirty cellar with no recollection of any memories past and no idea who or where you are.[end if]

The cellar is dark and it is hard to make out exactly how large the room is, however you do not believe there are any exits. Above you there is a sewer grate with a small amount of hazy light coming through and illuminating the ground around a small wooden box on the floor."

The box is in the cellar. "There is a small box on the floor in front of you." The box is a closed openable container. In the box is a Gameboy and a packet of Big League Chew.

The note is in the cellar. "There is a note resting on top of the box."

The description of the note is "The note reads: 'This cellar is only a test. There is no way to escape, no story, and no point really except to try out my coding skills. Honest.' The note is signed by a 'gnomepickle'. You have no idea what any of that could possibly mean.. you have to find a way out of here."

The description of the box is "It is a normal wooden box. There is a latch on the front of the box that appears to be unlocked."

The description of the gameboy is "It is a strange grey object the likes of which you have never seen. A small cross is on the left front of it, as well as two reddish buttons on the right front. There seems to be a green tinted window of sorts above these strange buttons. Under the window reads: 'Nintendo GameBoy'. Upon further examination there is also a small object wedged inside the back of the 'GameBoy'. It reads: 'Super Mario 2: Six Golden Coins'. Strange... What could it mean?.."

The description of the packet of Big League Chew is "A small package depicting a muscular man wearing a strange helmet and holding a large wooden club. The contents seem to be edible."

The Gameboy is edible. 

After eating the Gameboy: say "You bite down on the grey box and immediately shatter all of your teeth, but you are determined.

You take the small grey contraption and begin wildly smacking it into the wall of the cellar. Each blow chips a piece off of the box, which you then consume in your wild hunger lust. 

Eventually the grey box is gone, however inside there are all sorts of strange wires and chips. You decide to also force them down your throat.

Your mouth and throat are now a bloody, disgusting pulp. You decide eating the strange box was probably not the best of ideas, as now you are now bleeding and choking to death. The light fades... and you slip into a deep sleep."; end the game in death.

The packet of Big League Chew is edible. 

After eating the packet of Big League Chew: say "You tear open the packet and reveal a shredded pink substance inside. The smell causes your mouth to water and you find yourself in a field of sorts. All around you people are cheering! 

You look down and see you are holding a large wooden club and wearing a strange uniform. A voice yells, 'Batter up!'.

A man in a white and black striped shirt hurls a small ball at your face. You have no choice but to defend yourself with the club in your posession! You swing the club with all of your might and hit the ball!

The crowd cheers! You feel like a hero! You're a- wait....

Your vision subsides and you realize you are still in the dirty old cellar about to die. What was once a flavorful mass of pink paradise is now a flavorless glob in your mouth. You spit the glob through the sewer grate and slump back against the wall."

The note is edible.

After eating the note: say "You wad the note up and put it in your mouth. The feeling of uncertainty must be causing you to go mad!"

The box is edible.

After eating the box: say "You sure are a crazy bastard aren't you?

You hold the box above your head like a trophy and proceed to shove the entire thing down your gullet. You expect this to be painful, however it all seems so natural to you.

Your jaw unhinges revealing a large esophogus that can easily consume the box with little effort. You also conclude that the box is absolutely delicious!

Your jaw returns to normal and you hear a voice thundering down from above.

'What the hell was that? That's ridiculous? Who would even think to do something so crazy?!'

The sewer grate opens and a tiny rope ladder descends to the floor. A small gnome of a man climbs down the ladder into the cellar with you.

'I designed this room as a test, however some people are obviously insane and should not be left alone in a dirty old cellar. I've decided to grant you your freedom!'

The tiny man takes hold of your hand and you both transform into awesome robots with lazer eyes and beam swords. Your jetpacks fire and you blast through the roof of the stupid cellar and out into space to find the next adventure!"; end the game in victory
