"You will be playing the different perspectives of the people in this story. The bold words indicate where you are. How to play: the controls are as follows: to go north type: n; north; go north ^same for south, east, and west. to open doors, make sure you are being specific as to which door you are opening, example: You are in front of a blue door. and you will type: open BLUE door. (don't need to capitalise, just for emphasis) To look at objects, type in -examine (object) or x (object). Just remember to be specific when typing out prompts" The hallway is a room. "Charlotte's room is to the west. Your room is to the east. A stand is in the middle of the hallway. (Go to stand first, then Charlotte's room, then your room.)" A stand is in the hallway. The stand is fixed in place. On the stand is card. The description of the card is "You are Charlotte's mother. Charlotte decides to have a sleepover with Ashlyn tonight. You let her. They stay up late into the night, probably talking about boys, school, and their personal lives. Go to Charlotte's room." Charlotte's door is a closed door. Your door is a closed door. Charlotte's door is west of the hallway. Your door is east of the hallway. Charlotte's room is north of Charlotte's door. The bed is in Charlotte's room. "You open the door. Charlotte and Ashlyn are fast asleep. You put the blanket over them and start to walk back to the door, before your eyes pick up a bright piece of paper with fancy writing." On the bed is the paper. The description of the paper is "The paper has the plan that they want to do tomorrow which includes staying out late at an amusement park to watch the fireworks. You decide to let them go when they ask, since exam week has just finished. You put the paper down. You look around once more to see that all is well before moving SOUTH back into the hallway." Your room is east of your door. "You walk into your room, tired from the long day. You flop onto your bed and have a nice sleep. (I hope this helped you understand how to play!)"
