"David" by WHRE When play begins: say "[italic type]You are David, a regular, middle aged man from Victorian England. You are a man of science and inquisition, and always find the finer things in life. You have come home from a lavish party, drunk off sherry, and collapse into your bed. After an awfully strange dream, you wake up...[roman type]". The Ruins of a Dining Hall is a room. "You find yourself on the icy floor of half-existing tile and stone. You look up and find yourself in the overgrown ruins of what seems to be a castle. You can see the sunlight from the early sunrise shining from the holes of the roof and walls. From the looks of the torn up pieces of half-rotten furniture, it seems that this was the Great Dining Hall of the castle. To the East, there is an arched doorway that leads to another room, and it seems to be the same from the South." The Ruins of a Kitchen is a lighted room. The Ruins of a Kitchen is east from the Ruins of a Dining Hall. "This room, seeing the earthen ovens and the rusted pans, used to be a kitchen. If this was indeed a castle, it was a very old one." The Dining Hall Hallway is a lighted room. The Dining Hall Hallway is south from the Ruins of a Dining Hall. "You entered an old corridor. The walls are thick with vines and cracks, and there is a deep set circular window that is broken. When you look out the window, you see an old dark pine forest. The Corridor brakes off into a T-Junction. To the east and west, there are rooms." The Grand Hall is a lighted room. The Grand Hall is east from the Dining Hall Hallway. "The doorway is a perfectly circular entrance made out of mossy stone. The doorway leads to a gigantic rectangular hall, with a massive doorway to the south. To the east, a staircase leads into the ground as a black, gaping hole. You'd need a lightsource to go down there." The Dead End is a lighted room. The Dead End is west from the Dining Hall Hallway. "The way is just a wall, but it's a slightly different color than the rest of the stone, and there's less moss on it than what you've seen so far. There is a small cross shaped hole close to the top of the discolored wall."
