The North Pole is a room. "You are Hannah! Prepare to have en epic adventure! You are in the north pole, and your only companion is Fergus, your dog. Besides that, you are wearing your coat, your boots, and your hat. South is docks. North is the icy rock cliff." The backpack is an openable closed container. The description of the backpack is "A musty old thing, with frayed straps and old iron clips on it. You don't remember where you got it, but it must be old!" In the backpack is the map. The map is an object. The description of the map is "Crinkled yellow paper with lots and lots of marks. It shows you that South of the docks is the Island." South of the North Pole is the Docks. The Docks is a room. 

"After trudging through the snow for a while, you and Fergus make it to the creaky old docks, slick with black ice. The water is dark and choppy, crashing up against the boats, which sway dangerously side to side. Then, you see that one boat has people on it! You carefully walk out over the dock and approach the boat, and Fergus follows. The boat is a vehicle. You need to get in the boat. After you get in the boat, examine the boat." The boat is a vehicle. The boat is in the docks. The description of the boat is "A small creaky thing, with a little cabin and a sleeping quarters under the deck." After examining the boat: say "You get on the boat, just as a crazed looking lady with a knife comes out and kills you and Fergus! Too bad... Maybe you shouldn't have gotten on this boat!"; end the game in death.

North of the North Pole is the Rock Cliff. The Rock Cliff is a room. "The iced over cliffs tower above you, the tops disappearing somewhere in the clouds. Up is the summits. You seem to hear something coming from up the summit! But poor little Fergus is getting cold! Should you risk going up for help, or should you go to the docks and look for a boat? Make a choice!" Up of the Rock Cliff is the Summits. The Summits is a room.

"You climbed for a long time, carrying Fergus. He is shivering, the poor little doggie! Just when you think that you wasted your time going up here, you see the silhouette of a person! You rush over. 'Hello! Can you help me?' You say. The person turns around and steps out of the mist when you see that the person is Makayla! 'Hi Hannah. Why are you on a mountain in the North Pole?' she says. You shrug. She shows you her map and shows you where you and her will be picked up by a helicopter... Suddenly, the helicopter lands next you. The helicopter is east." The helicopter is east of the Summits. The Helicopter is a room. 

"You and Makayla and Fergus all get on the helicopter. You can barely hear over the sound of the blades chopping! You jump up into the pilots seat. You must make a choice. South, or West? Maybe you should check you map. Your map is in your backpack."
West of the helicopter is the Open Sky. The Open Sky is a room.
After going west: say "You are attacked by a swarm of rabbid bats and the helicopter goes down in a spiral of teeth and fire"; end the game in death.

South of the helicopter is the island. The island is a room.
"You land safely on a little island somewhere in Europe after a very long flight. Unfortunately, you are out of helicopter fuel. And you are very hungry. And so is Fergus. You fear he might start eating you. South is the Beach. North is the woods. You can't go west because it is blocked by a bunch a jagged rocks. East is the field."

East of the Island is the Field. The Field is a room.
"The field is a wide expanse of rolling grasses and wildflowers, spotted with pink and yellow wildflowers." The mushroom is in the field. The mushroom is an edible object. The description of he mushroom is "A cute little piece of fungus. Haha, mushrooms are great." The dead mouse is in the field. The dead mouse is an edible object. After eating the dead mouse: say "EW ROTTEN MOUSE FLESH." The flower is in the field. The flower is an edible object. The description of the flower is "A nice little daisy. It smells lovely!"

South of the island is the Beach. The Beach is a room.
"The sand is red and dusty, puffing up against the rock cliffs, and the waves roll up on the shore. Then you realize that since the sea is so calm, you could maybe make a raft and get somewhere where there are people! You need to go around the island to find the following things before you can go away! Find a log, for flotation purposes, and a coconut, to drink out of while you are at sea!" The coconut is an object. The coconut is in the beach. The description of the coconut is "There it is. Its just a big hard thing. Don't drop it on your head !" 

North of the island is the woods. The Woods is a room.
"The woods are a dark enclosure of tall pine trees. The ground is a carper of orange dropped needles and pinecones." The log is in the woods. The log is an object. The description of the log is "This looks like what you need to build a raft. Once you have the log go to the beach and say go South, and your raft will take you to civilization!"

South of the beach is the town. The town is a room.
"After a long voyage over a chilly deep sea, you, Fergus and Makayla all make it to a town! YAY! When you get out of the boat, you go up to a pay phone and call your parents and they come to get you. Go down to go home!" Down of the town is home. Home is a room.
After going down: say "You made it home without dying and you had fun at the north pole, in the sea, and in a european island! You till don't know why you were in the north pole in the first place though...";end the game in victory.
