When entire game begins: say "Dan and Josie were enjoying their cruise to Costa Rica until a huge storm approached. The storm was so intense that it sank the entire cruise ship. Dan and Josie were able to abandon ship on a small orange life raft. However, they managed to pop their raft on the outskirts of a mysterious island. You are playing as Josie, and the goal of the game is to build a boat and sail back to Florida." The Island Shore is a room. " It is very hot. There are seashells and rocks everywhere. A forest encompasses the shore." Your popped raft is in the Island Shore. The description of popped raft is "An orange life raft with a huge hole in the bottom of it. There's no way of repairing it" The Forest is a room. The description of Forest is "A lush jungle. You can see what looks like a tribe to the east." The Forest is east of the Island Shore. Dan is a person. He is in the Island Shore. The description of Dan is "Your newlywed husband. He wants to go to the East first." The Tribe is a room. The description of Tribe is "An indigenous looking group of people. There are tents and fire pits everywhere." The Tribe is east of the Forest. The Cave is a room. The description of the Cave is "You can see fallen trees outside. Enter the cave by going north." It is south of Cave Entrance. The Cave is northwest of the Tribe. An old man is a person. He is in the Tribe. The description of old man is "A wise elderly man, he seems to be the leader. He looks like can help you. I can help you get home if you and your husband do my tribe a favor. There is a beast that lives in a cave northwest of our village. This beast is known to us as the Chupacabra. It terrorizes our village and steals all of our food. If you can slay the Chupacabra and get our food back, then we will give you the supplies needed to get back home." Cave Entrance is a room. The description of Cave Entrance is "The entrance to the cave. There are tunnels to the north, east, and west." Room 1 is a room. It is north of the Cave Entrance, south of the Chasm, and east of the Spider Den. The description of Room 1 is "A dark, damp room in the cave. You can see a tunnel to the north and to the west." A handle is in Room 1. The description of handle is "A wooden handle to a weapon." Chasm is a room. It is north of Room 1, west of the Quicksand Pit, and east of room 3. Falling is a scene. Falling begins when the player is in the Chasm for the first turn. When Falling begins: say "The last thing you hear are you and your husbands screams before you both fall to your death."; end the story; say "Better luck next time." Quicksand Pit is a room. It is north of Room 9 and east of Chasm. Sinking is a scene. Sinking begins when the player is in the Quicksand Pit for the first turn. When sinking begins: say "You get trapped in the quicksand, there's no escape. Everything turns black as you can no longer breath."; end the story; say "Better luck next time." Room 9 is a room. It is south of Quicksand Pit and east of The Cave Entrance. The description of Room 9 is "An almost pitch black room. You can hear the Chupacabra rumbling to the north." A blade is in Room 9. The description of the blade is "A sharp metal object that looks like it will fit into the handle. This could be used to kill the Chupacabra" Room 8 is a room. It is south of Room 6 and west of The Cave Entrance. The description of Room 8 is "A dark, wet room. There are rocks, bones, and blood scattered around the entire room. You can faintly see an opening to the north." bones are in Room 8. The description of bones is "Bones from past explorers. There is dried blood all over them." Bones are fixed in place. Room 6 is a room. It is north of Room 8, west of Spider Den, and south of Room 5. The description of Room 6 is "A dark room. You can see spiders crawling all around, as well as dried blood stains. There seems to be tunnels to the north and to the east." Spider Den is a room. It is east of Room 6 and west of Room 1. Attack is a scene. Attack begins when the player is in the Spider Den for the first turn. When Attack begins: say "Hundreds of spiders attack you all at once covering your body. Their venom stings like pouring lemon juice on a freshly cut wound. You can see the light fading and you die at the scene."; end the story; say "Better luck next time." Room 5 is a room. It is north of Room 6 and west of Room 3. The description of Room 5 is "A cold wet room. There are fresh human remains. There is still flesh attached to these remains. The odor is like nothing you've ever smelled before. There seems to be a narrow tunnel to the east." Room 3 is a room. It is south of Room 4, east of Room 5, and west of Chasm. The description of Room 3 is "A very small cold room, not much bigger than the tunnels. You can hear the Chupacabra growling to the east. You take out the cold weapon to prepare to take on the beast." Room 4 is a room. It is north of Room 3, south of Food. The description of Room 4 is "The final room, you can see the Chupacabra here. It looks so evil and looks like it can easily rip you in half. You can see the villages food behind it." Chupacabra is a scene. Chupacabra begins when the player is in Room 4 for the first turn. When Chupacabra begins: say "The beast attacks at full force."; If the player is not carrying the blade: end the story; say "The beast rips you to shreds. Your blood and guts spray all over the cave walls and floor. You should have been carrying a weapon."; otherwise: say "You pull out the blade and stab the beast right in the heart. It lets out a horrifying shriek which causes rocks to crash on it from above killing the beast. You can now see light coming from behind the food. An exit is to the north." North Shore is a room. It is north of Room 4. The description of North Shore is "The opposite end of the island. You can see the old man here with your supplies to get home." Home is a scene. Home begins when the player is in the North Shore for the first turn. When Home begins: say "Thank you. You've killed the Chupacabra and gotten back all of our food that it stole from us. Here are the supplies you need to get home."; end the story; say "You successfully crafted a boat and have set sail for Florida. You can't wait to be home."
