With an observation deck above the floor visitors can sit and observe government affairs. The carpet rustic blue, hues of red, brown and white form intricate designs. A podium with three layers one for the cabinet, one for the Vice President, and one for the President, Franklin D. Roosevelt. Above the podium a gold and white clock prominently displayed. It reads 4:30, the meeting starts at 5:30. You have one hour. [line break] Your exits are North, South, and West." Oak desk is an object. The oak desk is in Senate. The description of the oak desk is "Oooh shiny! I can see my face." Instead of taking oak desk, Say "That's heavy!" Thomas Hoadings is a man in senate. Thomas Hoadings is holding a Thomas Hoadings signature. " A congressman labeled undecided on whether or not to vote for the Deal. It's my objective to convince him otherwise." Thomas Hoadings signature is an object. Instead of saying hello to Thomas Hoadings: say "How am I supposed to sign this without a pen?" Instead of saying hello to Thomas Hoadings when Thomas Hoadings carrying the pen: say "I may have not agreed to this in the first place, but now I do. The American People need to be taken care of. George Washington's painting is north of President's room and south of senate. George Washington's painting is a door. It is closed. The description of George Washington's painting is "The man who did it all, could've had it all, but turned it down for the people. Gosh, I want to be like him! Oh- I can hear voices. Someone must've closed the door incorrectly." President's room is a room. "The room- much like the oval office- is-well-oval. A mahogany desk sat in the middle of the room hold's one of the nation's greatest presidents, Franklin D. Roosevelt. Gosh this is so awesome!" Franklin Roosevelt is a man in the President's room. "President Roosevelt shuffles through the paper, pausing every once in a while to stare at a particular phrase. He sits in his wheelchair due to contracting Polio at age 39." Instead of taking Franklin Roosevelt, Say "I doubt you'd somehow find room for him next to the gun. Still don't know why I need that." Graveyard is a room. It is south of President's room. "You see an open grave. Empty. In the corner of your eye a white light flickers and disappears." A grave is a closed container. Understand "space" as the grave. Rods is a room. Bookshelf is southwest of president's room and northeast of Rods. Bookshelf is a door. It is lockable and locked. Understand the command "kill" as something new. Killing is an action applying to one thing. Understand "kill [someone]" as killing. Instead of killing Franklin Roosevelt: if a random chance of 1 in 1 succeeds: say "You killed Franklin Roosevelt. You have failed your mission but can't help and smile as you wrap you hands around his neck....[line break]"; say "Long live the monarchy [line break]"; move Franklin Roosevelt to Rods; end the story finally. Understand the command "talk" as something new. Talking is an action applying to one thing. Library is a room. "SO MANY BOOOOOOOKS!!!!!!" It is north of senate. A pen is an object. The pen is in the library. The description of the pen is "It's a nice pen." Instead of dropping pen, Say "It's nice. How am I supposed to get people to sign if I don't have a pen?" The Courtyard is a room. It is west of senate. "The court yard is full with men and women. There is a weird smell that is crowding the area. You need to ask two people for signatures for The New Deal. There is a water bottle hidden in the corner of the courtyard." Man On The Right is a man in the courtyard. The Man on the Right is holding the Farmer signature. "The man on the right wore a leather hat and muddy blue overalls. He leans against the wall as he scratches his yellow teeth." Man On The Left is a man in the Courtyard. The Man on the Left is holding the Business mans signature ." The man on the left looks like a fired business man, he is wearing scuffed back pants and a white button up. There is a rip on his shirt by the shoulder." The Farmers signature is an object. The Business mans signature is an object. Water bottle is an object in the Courtyard. Saying hello to is an action applying to one visible thing. Understand "greet [something]" or "say hello/hi to [something]" or "talk to [something]" as saying hello to. Understand "give [things] to [someone]" as multiply-giving it to. Multiply-giving it to is an action applying to one carried thing and one thing. Instead of taking the water bottle: say "You have obtained the water bottle."; move the water bottle to the player. Instead of giving the water bottle to man on the left: say "You give the water bottle to the man on the left."; move the water bottle to the man on the left. Instead of saying hello to Man on the Right: say "Hello. A petition about the New Deal. I'm a farmer that lost half of my land to the Dust bowl and needs to support my family. The New deal has a program called the AAA (Agricultural Adjustment Act) that would allow me to sell the side that was destroyed by the Dust Bowl. This program will allow me to sell my crops for a higher price which allows me to maintain my farm and feed my family. There are many farmers that have heard my story and they support the new deal too because there is a program that helps make up the new deal called the SCS (Soil Conservation Service). This deal makes every agricultural lands plants trees and strong rooted plants that will help make the dust bowl harmless.[line break][line break](You obtained the signature from the farmer.)"; move the farmers signature to the player. Instead of saying hello to Man on the Left: say "I'm much too thirsty to speak with you right now.". Instead of saying hello to Man on the left when the man on the left is carrying the Water bottle: say "Thank you for the water. I was a successful businessman but now the Great Depression has ruined my job life. I have a hard time finding a job. Almost ¼ of the United States is unemployed. The CCC enlisted, many unemployed, unmarried, men who were ages 18 to 25 to work nine months on conservation projects (i.e.: replanting trees, preparing for floods, or soil conservation) and work on natural resource development.
