You quickly look around to get your bearings." Outdoors is a region. Quiet Clearing and Oak Tree are in Outdoors. The sky, forest and ground are backdrops in Outdoors. Understand "trees" as forest. The Quiet Clearing is a room. The description of the Quiet Clearing is "[if unvisited]You peer around what appears to be a peaceful glade in the midst of a rather foreboding looking forest. A small trail appears to go through the glade from east to west.[otherwise]A peaceful glade in the midst of a dark, foreboding forest. A small game trail wends it's way east to west through the clearing." Trail is scenery in the Quiet Clearing. "It looks like a game trail. It goes across the clearing, from east to west - or is it west to east. Anyway, the trail looks like the only passage out of the clearing." Understand "game trail" and "game" as Trail. A small bird is an animal in Quiet Clearing. "A small yellow bird flutters between the trees and ground." The description of the bird is "It looks like it might be a finch. The way it's acting, it's probably looking for seeds or something.[if bird wears the gold band]You glimpse a small gold band on it's leg.[end if]" The bird wears a small gold band. Instead of examining the band when the bird has the band, say "You can't really look at the gold band while it is worn by the bird." Instead of taking the bird, say "As you approach, the bird quickly flutters out of reach." Oak Tree is a room. Oak tree has printed name "The big, big Oak Tree". Oak Tree is west of Quiet Clearing.
