"Cole and Michael" by Cole Jamila and Michael Borza When play begins: Say "You are a worker in an Art Supply store during the 1930's. You are manning the front desk when someone walks in the front door. Luckily, because of the Fair Labor Standards Act, you are almost done with your eight hour shift." The Art Store Front Desk is a Room. "You are standing behind the desk. There is a door to the East leading to the Factory." The service bell is in the Art Store Front Desk. Instead of taking the service bell: say "[The actor] ring the service bell." The Description of the key is "It's a small brass key. It looks like it can unlock a door somewhere in the shop." The Description of the service bell is "It's a shiny bell that can be tapped. I get paid 40 cents an hour to answer this bell. Thanks Franklin Delano Roosevelt." There is a key in The Art Store Front Desk. The key unlocks the Wooden Door. The Artist is a person in The Art Store Front Desk. "The Artist says he is working for the WPA (a government program that hires people for work). He needs Plaster and Tiles for his Mural." The description of the Artist is "He has baggy clothes and is covered in paint. He smiles at you." The Factory is east of The Art Store Front Desk. " You see people slaving away working, creating art supplies in a very hot room and using very hazardous tools with no safety precautions whatsoever. There is a Wooden Door to the North." Plaster is in the Factory. The description of the Plaster is "It's a simple working plaster, perfect for sticking things to walls." Glass Tiles is in the Factory. The description is "They are pretty squares in assorted colors." Instead of eating key: say " I guess you ran out of food stamps." Instead of eating service bell: say " I guess the Depression really hit you hard. You run out of food stamps?" The Break Room is north of the Wooden Door. The Wooden Door is a door. The Wooden Door is north of the Factory. It is lockable. It is closed. It is locked. The bucket is a container. The bucket is in the Break Room. Instead of taking Plaster when the player is not carrying the bucket: Say " You need to put it in something first!" Instead of taking Plaster when the player is carrying the bucket: move Plaster to the bucket; Say "The plaster is now safe and contained." Instead of eating Glass Tiles: Say "They're bite sized, but I don't think the artist would appreciate bite marks." Instead of giving Glass Tiles to Artist: move the Glass Tiles to the Artist; Say "Thanks a lot. :D" Instead of giving Glass Tiles to Artist while the Artist has the bucket: move the Glass Tiles to the Artist; end the story finally; say "The artist can now make his mural. Hopefully the WPA gives him enough money to support his family for this commission." Instead of giving bucket to Artist: move bucket to the Artist; Say "wow thanks :3"; Instead of giving bucket to Artist while the Artist has the Glass Tiles: move bucket to the Artist; end the story finally; say "The artist can now make his mural."
