"Highly Technical" The stoop is a room. "You are on a nondescript stoop. To the East is a steel door marked Delivery Entrance. To the West is a half-empty parking lot. On the lot there is a familiar-looking car, and, next to it, a type of Tesla you've never seen before." The steel door is a closed door. The steel door is east of the stoop. The car is west of the stoop. "You are standing between a Tesla, whose door is open, and a maroon station wagon which looks old enough to vote, if not drink, legally. The midmorning sun throws your shadow across the driver's side door of the station wagon. Through the birdshit-splattered window you see a set of keys." The car door is north of the car. The car door is a closed locked door. The coat hanger unlocks car door. The Tesla is south of the car. "You slip into the surprisingly comfortable seat of the Tesla. There are no visible controls." A bin is in the stoop. The bin is fixed in place. The bin is closed and openable. The coat hanger is inside the bin. The signage is in the stoop. The signage is fixed in place. The signage is scenery. The description of the bin is "The bin is the nearest to you of five identical blue plastic bins. There is some signage above them." The description of signage is "A sign above the bins reads, *These Bins are for Recycling Only*. Smaller signs above each bin say, from left to right, *This is not a trash can* *Nor is this* *Be A Hoot, Don't Pollute* *Seriously?* and, finally, *Paper Only, Kapeesh?*" Hallway is east of the steel door. "You are inside the empty hallway. To your left and right are heavy wooden doors. Behind you is the steel door leading to the stoop. There is a doorway ahead of you and to the left. Ahead of you are a few chairs." The Studio is a room. The Studio is east of hallway. "It is dark here. You might get eaten by a grue." The light switch is a device in the Studio. The light is switched off. Carry out switching off the light switch: now the studio is dark. Carry out switching on the light switch: now the studio is lighted. "There is a stool here with a white screen behind it. A camera on a tripod is pointed at the chair, and there are unshaded lamps to the left and right of the stool. On the wall is a large photo collage of adorable children doing wholesome things, and another large poster of a batter spectacularly missing a pitch. It occurs to you that this might be a good place to perform an interrogation—should the need ever arise." Kitchen is northeast of hallway. "You are in what you recognize as a restaurant kitchen, but in place of a grill there is a strange boxy contraption with a keypad and buttons on the left and right. It might be a a convection oven, or perhaps a pinball machine. To the east you hear a quiet buzzing." Gentlemen is north of hallway. "You are in a bathroom. There are urinals on the wall to your right and two stalls straight ahead. An aging fluorescent lamp flickers, making your head hurt." Ladies is south of hallway. "You are in an elegant women's bathroom, tastefully wallpapered in an apparent homage to the 1980s."
