The white frosting spells out 'Happy Birthday Tommy'" instead of touching the cake: say "I am not certain you would want to ruin this perfect design with your filthy hands."; instead of eating the cake: say "[if the player can see the chef]You have eaten the cake and it was every bit of delicious as you thought it would be. The chef does not seem to agree with your actions. Every turn when the chef is carrying the water: say "[if the chef can see the water]'THANK YOU, THANK YOU!', says the chef with great excitement. 'Now I can get back to what a chef is supposed to be doing.' With that said, the chef whirls around and walks off into his office, closing the door behind him. After the chef leaves to clean himself up, you notice something in the drain that catches your eye."; now the drain is open; remove water from play; remove chef from play. after opening the drain, say " The disgustingly putrid dishwater swirls around the plunger and after a few moments, the clog seems to break free and the water drains. You notice something stuck down in the drain, It appears to be some kind of key." Every turn when player can see chef: say "[one of]The chef appears to be quite agitated and his attention appears to be focused on the sink.[or] You can hear the chef mumbling to himself. He looks quite agitated and is doing something in the sink.[or]The chef appears to be in dire staits, his attention is focused on the sink.[at random]"; if player cannot see water: stop the action. Before taking cake: if player is not wearing gloves: say "[one of]not with those dirty hands!![or]You think twice about touching the cake without some kind of protection[or]You surely are not going to pick up the cake with those filthy dirty hands! You might try looking for some protection.[at random]"; stop the action. [Garage area] The Garage is a room. "[if unvisited]Walking into the dark garage, you fumble for a light switch. Not finding one you venture just a little further into the room. Suddenly, you trip and fall bringing down all kinds of things around you. Somehow while all this was going on the light switch turn on. You can see several things scattered about the garage. There is a pull down set of stairs here that lead up into a dark attic.[otherwise]The garage, which is usually kept in immaculate codition, appears to have been ransacked. "This is the Bathroom north of the kitchen. There is an exit leading south. Just like everything else in the house, the bathroom is kept to immaculate standards. The bathroom consists of a single stall and a small sink, Just enough to get your business done and get back to work.". the description of the plunger is "ACME SUPER PLUNGER". understand "looking in [something]" as examining. Understand "reach underneath [something]" or "reach under [something]" or "reach beneath [something]" as looking under. Understand "flush the toilet" or "flush the toilet" as a mistake ("There is a loud woosh and the toilet begins to swirl. The circling water seems to hold your attention for just a second until you come back to your senses."). Instead of searching the stall: if the stall is closed: say "The stall door is closed, there is a green sign on the door that reads 'VACANT'."; if the stall is open: say "The pristine stall contains a toilet and a fresh roll of toilet paper. There is something with a wooden handle sticking out from behind the toilet." after opening the stall: say "The stall door opens." toilet is part of the stall. Understand "look in" as looking. understand "look behind" as examining. understand "behind the toilet" or "Behind toilet" as toilet. instead of giving the plunger to the chef: now the drain is open; say "THANK YOU, THANK YOU!', says the chef with great excitement. 'Now I can get back to what a chef is supposed to be doing. The Chef begins plunging the drain and the nasty dishwater is splashing all over the chef. The water begins to swirl around the plunger and the drain is making quite a loud belch as the water slowly receeds from the sink. With all the hard word done, the chef dries his hands and heads off into his office and closing the door behind him. The water has receeded enough that the drain is now visible. A glint of light catches your eye. It appears something may be in the drain."; remove chef from play; remove water from play; remove plunger from play. after taking the cake: say "Well done adventurer.
