They all appear to be facing the front. You look through most of them, but find nothing of use.". Description of DESKS is "You don't feel the need to search these again.". Instead of examining LARGE DESK for the first time: move SMALL KEY to classroom; say "A large desk that appears to be facing towards all the smaller ones. You find a SMALL KEY on the desk.". Instead of eating the SMALL KEY: end the story; say “You decide to eat the small, probably poisonous, key. You spend the next couple of hours sitting in the corner of the room, only to be interrupted by the teacher coming inside![paragraph break]You spend an hour every day after school in detention... ". Instead of taking DESKS: say "You pick up one of the desks for a few seconds, but soon realize you can't do this for long, so you put it away.". The HALLWAY is a room. Some TABLES are in the cafeteria. The TABLES are fixed in place. Instead of examining the TABLES for the first time: say “There’s a box of fries on one of the tables.â€. The BOX OF FRIES is an object. The BOX OF FRIES is in the cafeteria. The description of the BOX OF FRIES is "Oh...there's a box of fries...I wonder if I can eat it...". Instead of examining TABLES for the first time: move BOX OF FRIES to cafeteria. The BOX OF FRIES is edible. After eating the BOX OF FRIES, say "A bit stale, but delicious.". The description of the TABLES is “They’re just tables. There’s nothing of use.â€. After entering FIELD: say "You have escaped without anyone knowing! Good job!"; end the story. The FIELD is a room. The HIGH TECH COMPUTER is an object in the PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE. Instead of taking the HIGH TECH COMPUTER: say "It's screwed to the desk.". Instead of taking the FANCY DESK: say "It's a bit too large to carry. There are a few papers inside of it.". Description of FANCY DESK is "A carved and polished wooden desk. It must have been expensive...". Description of HIGH TECH COMPUTER is "A powerful computer with a large, high quality monitor. A good use of the school's budget!". Instead of examining the FANCY DESK for the first time: say "It's a bit too large to carry. There are a few papers inside of it. You also see a very important looking key inside of it"; move MASTER KEY to the PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE. The STAFF ROOM is a room. The description of the STAFF DOOR is "A door that leads to the STAFF ROOM. It has a lock that looks to be made out of steel.". The description of the STAFF ROOM is "this is the staff room, I usually wouldn't be allowed in here". The STAFF DOOR is a closed locked door. The STAFF DOOR is east of the STAFF ROOM. The STEEL KEY unlocks the STAFF DOOR. The BRONZE KEY is an object. The SOFA is an object in the STAFF ROOM. The SOFA is fixed in place. Instead of examining the SOFA for the first time: say “It seems to be an ordinary sofa. [paragraph break]Upon further inspection, you find a BRONZE KEY slipped in between the cushions.â€; move the BRONZE KEY to the STAFF ROOM. The description of the COMPUTER LAB is “A large room with about two dozen computers. Only one is still working…â€. The description of the WORKING COMPUTER is "The only working computer in this whole room. Someone forgot to log out (Thank God!). It's very old, but it works.". Instead of taking the WORKING COMPUTER for the first time: say “You don’t even want to move this! It’s your only connection to the outside world!â€. Instead of taking the WORKING COMPUTER: say “You decide otherwise, and try to take the WORKING COMPUTER. You nudge it slightly, and the monitor goes black! You try finding your way out, but end up giving in and waiting for the next day…â€.; end the story. Instead of examining the WORKING COMPUTER for the first time: say "It's the only working computer in this whole room. Someone forgot to log out (Thank God!). It's very old, but it works."; say "You search around on it and find out one of your friends is online. You should ask him if he knows the code for the OFFICE DOOR". The printed name of WORKING COMPUTER is "WORKING COMPUTER". The WORKING COMPUTER is a person in the COMPUTER LAB. After asking the WORKING COMPUTER about "name": say "What do you mean you don't know my name? It's ME!"; now the printed name of WORKING COMPUTER is "WORKING COMPUTER (Talking with KEN)". After asking the WORKING COMPUTER about "late": say "It's 2 in the morning. If anything it's EARLY!". After asking the WORKING COMPUTER about "code": say "I don't know all of it, but I know it's 6 digits and the last 2 are '1' and '6' (Write this down somewhere!)."
