The Kitchen is a room. The Kitchen is north of the Hallway. The Lounge is a room. The Lounge is west of the Hallway. The Bedroom is a room. The Bedroom is south of the Hallway. A thing can be visible or hidden. A thing is usually visible. The dresser is in the Bedroom. The dresser is a container. The description of the dresser is "A long wooden dresser with a lady's baubles scattered on top. It has many drawers. You can see some pieces of clothing sticking out of one drawer but you cannot quite see inside. Maybe something warm is in that drawer." In the dresser is a closed, openable container called the drawer. In the drawer is a gift box. The gift box is a closed, openable container. Instead of taking the gift: say "A large box, wrapped in brightly patterned paper." The gift box contains a card. The description of the card is "The card says, in flowery script: 'Ask the dog for something warm'". Understand "Pet [something]" as petting. Petting is an action applying to one thing. Understand "Feed [something]" as feeding. Feeding is an action applying to one thing. Understand "Speak to [something]" as speaking. Speaking is an action applying to one thing. Instead of speaking the dog: say "The dog wants you to pet him."; The dog is on the bed. The dog is an animal. The description is "Adorable and gross". Instead of petting the dog: say "You pet the dog and he licks your hand in return. He indicates---through a series of gestures, barks and licks--- for you to search him for possessions." Instead of taking the Unnamed Object: say "The dog hesitantly allows you to take the Unnamed Object from his tiny paws. Take your reward!" In the Bedroom is a thing called a bed. The description of the bed is "Soft and inviting, but empty". The Bathroom is a room. The Bathroom is south of the Bedroom. The description of the bathroom is "Somewhat dirty. The small counter is cluttered with makeup. The floor is littered with clothes." In the Bathroom is a Hamper. A Hamper is an open container. In the hamper is a drawing. The description of the drawing is "A drawing revealing Susan, crouched behind a bush as she creeps on Jeff while he searches for undahweeehs. Answer the question, boxers or briefies?". Understand "Briefies" as briefiesing. Briefiesing is an action applying to nothing. Instead of briefiesing: say "You get a reward and a free butt touch!" The Computer Lab is a dark room. In the computer lab is a desk, a chair, a window and a wall. On the desk is a puzzle. The chair is a supporter. Supporters are enterable. The description of the window is "It is a dark and stormy night. Though it is raining outside, you feel safe and happy inside." The description of the desk is "The desk is old and contains many drawers. You rummage through the drawers but there doesn't seem to be anything inside except for junk and vitamins (???)". The description of the puzzle is "A wooden cube with many interlocking parts. It is difficult to determine where one ends and the others begin. There are words inscribed on each piece. They read 'I made this game, just for you/ I'll give you a gift if you guess this clue/ I am two, I am me and I am you/ I am us underneath the covers/ I am our second date when we became...?'". Understand "Lovers" as loversing. Loversing is an action applying to nothing. In the lounge is a couch, a bookcase and a TV. The ghost cat is on the couch. The ghost cat is an animal. A bookcase is a closed openable container. A TV is a switched off device in the Lounge. Understand "Play [something]" as playing. Playing is an action applying to one thing. Instead of godzillaing: say "Choose your next gift!" The description of the bookcase is "A wide bookcase crammed with books and knick-knacks." In the bookcase is a Clue. The description of the clue is "This 'King of Monsters' got his name by combining the Japanese words for gorilla and whale. Who Am I?" The description of the couch is "A long grey couch. Very comfortable. Under the cushions you find many crumbs, a few coins and a hair tie." The description of the TV is "A large flat screen TV. It can be turned on and off." The ghost cat carries socks. The socks are hidden. The description of the ghost cat is "The cat is slightly transparent and glows with a greenish hue. The cat is spooky but not 2 spooky 4 you. The cat enjoys the moonlight and dancing. The cat has a secret. " Instead of dancing the cat: say "The cat looks mildly pleased. The cat beams these thoughts directly into your mind: 'The Caterduke of Under Couch is pleased by the offerings you leave for him. You must tell me what you give him for I am on a quest. If I please the Caterduke, he will grant me a wish and I can finally be a real cat. A real cat that can play and sleep in sunbeams and bathe my self in the luxurious and thick blood of my terrified enemies. You must tell me now'." Understand "Socks" as socking. Socking is an action applying to nothing. Instead of socking: say "The cat thanks you and telepathically indicates that you should choose your next gift." Instead of petting the cat: say "The cat looks mildly annoyed." Instead of speaking the cat: say "The cat looks extremely annoyed." Instead of tickling the cat: say "The cat tries to claw your eyes out but is unable to do so because it does not inhabit an earthly body." Instead of whistling the cat: say "The cat rolls its eyes at you." Instead of feeding the cat: say "Your hand passes right through the cat, making you shudder." Instead of switching on the TV: say "You switch the TV on but only static is playing. The cat is transfixed by the snowy display and begins to purr." Instead of switching off the TV: say "The cat yowls at you ferociously!" Understand "talk to [something]" as speaking. The light switch is a switched off device in the Computer Lab. It is fixed in place. After deciding the scope of the player when the location is the Computer Lab: place the light switch in scope. Carry out switching off the light switch: now the Computer Lab is dark. Carry out switching on the light switch: now the Computer Lab is lighted. Understand "flip [something switched off]" as switching on. Understand "flip [something switched on]" as switching off. Understand "flip [something]" as switching on. In the kitchen is a refrigerator, a cupboard, a stove and a table. The refrigerator is a closed openable container. The cupboard is a closed openable container. The stove is a switched on device. The description of the kitchen is "A cramped space. The scent of garlic is pervasive but not unpleasant. After bar-xing: say "You get a reward!" East of the kitchen is The Backyard. The Backyard is a room. The description of the backyard is "A small yard covered in yellow leaves. You can see a faint glimmer in the south corner of the backyard. It looks like a promising direction." In the backyard is a crow. The description of the crow is "A large bird. His blue-black feathers shine even in the darkness. He tilts his head as you approach and watches you with intelligent eyes." After speaking the crow: say "The crow screeches at you, 'Crrraaaww! Crow-bro! Crow-bro! Crrrrraaaw! Sing to sleep. Sing to sleep. Crrrraaaaw! Tired! Tired! Crow-bro! Sing to sleep!'" After petting the crow: say "The crow trills sweetly and closes his eyes slightly in enjoyment." Instead of dancing the crow: say "This crow is too tired to dance." Understand "Tickle [something]" as tickling. Tickling is an action applying to one thing. Before tickling the crow: say "This crow is too tired to be tickled." Understand "Whistle to [something]" as whistling. Whistling is an action applying to one thing. Before whistling the crow: say "You whistle the tune to 'The Twilight Zone'." After whistling the crow: say "The crow becomes calm and drifts off to sleep. Congratulations, you get a reward!" A thing is either drinkable or undrinkable. A thing is usually undrinkable. In the refrigerator is an apple, a steak and a beer. An apple is edible. A steak is edible. A beer is drinkable. Instead of drinking beer: say "Have another!" After switching off the stove: say "Holy crap I can't believe you found this! Surprise!" South of the Backyard is a Secret Room. The Secret Room is a lighted room. The description of the secret room is "A beautiful garden lit by moonlight. You can see many exotic flowers and plants growing wildly and unchecked. The aroma is sweet. You feel relaxed." In the Secret Room is a lovely flower. A lovely flower is a container. The lovely flower contains a key. The description of the key is "You had me at cake. When was that, again?" Understand "Susan's Birthday" as susansbirthdaying. Susansbirthdaying is an action applying to nothing. After susansbirthdaying: say "Susan appears, dressed in clothes that are somehow both skimpy and flowy. She beams a loving smile at you and says, 'Aww you remembered! Here is The Big Clue, my little snowflake: A, B, C and D, you'll never know, how much you mean to me. Line up the letters, on your gifts, watch how your heart, soars and lifts."
