"Yard" By Paige and Aleisha The Yard is a room. The box is an openable closed container. The box is in the yard. The description of the box is "Scary!" "There was a box in the yard. In the box when the kids open it a spooky witch pops out. Open the box." After opening the box: say "A witch pops out at you! You can run North to hide in the woods or South to get help in the city." North of the yard is the woods. The Woods is a room. After going North: say "You ran into the woods, but unfortunately the witch followed you! She grabs you and you die."; end the game in death. South of the yard is the City. The city is a room. "When you go to the city you get offered an apple by a creepy guy. You can take it, or you can go up, to the highway." The apple is in the city. The apple is an edible object. The description of the apple is "It is a shiny red apple." After taking the apple: say "Turns out, the apple was poisonous! Oh well."; end the game in death. Up of the city is the highway. The Highway is a room. "When you go up to the highway you see a big log truk on the side of the road. The log truck is east of where you stand. Or you can keep going south, following the road." East of the Highway is the Log Truck. The Log truck is a room. "You walk over to the log truck. There is a dead person! The dead person is holding a pastry, though. You can take the pastry or go South, down the road." The pastry is an edible object in the log truck. After taking the pastry: say "The dead person did not want you to take his snack, so he kills you."; end the game in death. South of the Highway is the Bridge. The Bridge is a room. "You come to a big long bridge! You can keep going south, or you take a snail off of the ground and eat it!" The snail is an edible object. The snail is in the Bridge. After going south: say "Oh nooooooooooooo! The bride breaks apart and you fall to your dooooooooom. The end!"; end the game in death. After eating the snail: say "Yummy rainbow snail magic! You turn into a unicorn and fly away on the sunset. The end."; end the game in victory.
