The Cave is south of the Woodland Path. "[if Cave is unvisited]You find yourself in a dark cave with an entrance to the north. There is a sign on the wall, which you can just barely make out.[end if][if Cave is visited]You are back in the Cave. It's pretty much the same. You can just barely read a sign on the cave wall.[end if]" A sign is fixed in place in the Cave. The description of the sign is "The sign says: 'Go north to find the mystical Wizard of the North. Your quest is to vanquish him. Beware, for the journey is very dangerous. See Amagon in the West Tower for more help.'" The Woodland Path is a room. The Goblin is a man in the Woodland Path. The Goblin is holding the Wooden Sword. "[if Woodland Path is unvisited]There is a goblin here who might help you with your quest. Ask him about the sign. Be careful, he is carrying a sharp wooden sword.[end if]" After asking the Goblin about "sign", say "'Hahahahaha! I help no one of your kind unless they bring gold! Do you have any gold?'" Player is carrying a torch. Instead of showing torch to Goblin: say "'Bah! That is not gold! It is made of brass at best! Are you stupid? Heeheehee!'" The sack of gold is an object. The sack of gold is in the Western Riverbank. After giving sack of gold to Goblin: [if player is carrying sack of gold]say "'Ooh! What's this?' ...sniff...sniff... 'Gold! Yes! You have gold! Here, take my sword, I can buy a better one now! Heeheehee!'" After giving sack of gold to Goblin: Goblin throws the Wooden Sword. The Western Riverbank is a room. It is west of the Woodland Path. "[if Western Riverbank is unvisited]There is a river in this area. There is a sign next to the river.[end if][if Western Riverbank is visited]Here is the Western Riverbank again. There are exits to the east and west, but the river prevents northern travel, and thick foliage prevents adventuring southward.[end if]" The Western River Sign is in the Western Riverbank. The Western River Sign is scenery. It is fixed in place. The description of the Western River Sign is "The sign reads: 'THE WESTERN RIVER.'"
