The Workshop is a room. "You are attending a workshop regarding learning new teaching practices in a digital environment. There is a lot of information that was written on the board, but it is recommended that you first read the book. To the north is the bathroom."

Professorklein is a man in The Workshop.

After asking Professorklein about "The Workshop", say "Ah, I am glad you asked. First we are looking up a historic aerial on http://historic aerials.com, then we will post an image on Padlet. Last we will create a sample of interactive fiction."

After asking Professorklein about "Animation", say "Well we basically move pictures at a certain frame rate and that gives the illusion of movement. Why don't you ask me about the workshop?"

talking to is an action applying to one visible thing. Understand "talk to [a person]" as talking to. 


A book is here. "Welcome to the workshop Please let us know if you have ever had any experience creating an interactive digital environment like this one." The description is "Upon further examination, you decide that this might be a worthwhile activity."

After taking the book:
   say "You pick up the book and begin to read it."

After dropping the book:
   say "You put the book down as the person sitting next to you smiles and the lecture continues."

Understand "manual" as the book;

After examining the book for the second time:
   now the printed name of the book is "manual".

The bathroom is a room. It is north of the Workshop. The description is "Bathroom- any time nature calls!"

A magazine is here. 

After taking the magazine:
   say "There is reading material in the bathroom that seems at least as interesting as what is going on in the classroom."

A Laptop is here. "A Laptop lies glinting on the floor." The description is "The computer is an outdated iBook from Apple Computers. [if we have not examined the Laptop]Are there perhaps more Microsoft Windows users attending the workshop today?[end if]".

The cafeteria is a room. It is south of the Workshop. The description is "Cafeteria-Today serving Bagels and Coffee!"

After taking the bagel:
   say "All of the bagels are plain. I imagine next time we will request a variety."

After taking the coffee:
   say "I hope you like your coffee without sugar or milk!"

The supply area is a room. It is south of the cafeteria. The description is "Free Technology for Registered Participants!"

A Grab Bag is here. The description is "Lots of items to keep your skills sharp!"

After taking the Grab Bag:
   say "Inside the grab bag you find a copy of INFORM 7! This was a productive experience for you today!"
