The block giving rule is not listed in any rulebook. Use no scoring. The Town Square is a region. The Lab, Libra's House, and the Wise Man's Hut is in the Town Square. The Mansion Property is a region. The Ruined Courtyard, Kitchen, Living Room, Bedroom, Study, Laundry Room and Hidden Storage Room are in the Mansion Property. When entire game begins: say "You wake up painfully, still hungover from last night's drinking session, your memories from yesterday night murky. Maybe something happened between the captain's daughter? It might be fun to know what happened last night." Talking to is an action applying to one thing Understand "Talk to [someone]" as talking to. Warning is an action applying to two things. Understand "Warn [someone] about [something]" as warning. Understand "Tell [someone] about [something]" as warning. [Black Spike Forest] The Black Spike Forest is north of The Lab."The Forest is completely manmade, almost engineered as deter as much human presence as possible. This is not someplace where you want to linger too long for." There is an obelisk and black pillars in the Black Spike Forest. There are strange drawings and strange text on the Obelisk. The Obelisk, Black Pillars, strange text and strange drawings are fixed in place. The description of the Obelisk is "The Obelisk is huge, pulsating with energy that chills you to the bone. Every ounce of your soul is telling you, GET AWAY!" The description of the black pillars is "Black pillars, hundreds of them surrounding the area. Whoever built these, they didn't anyone to be here for long. " The description of the strange drawings is "It's a three-panel comic. The first panel shows an obElIsK with some sort of triangular symbol in it, and a man with a shovel. The second shows the man digging in the pit with the symbol entering the man. The last shows the man DeAD on the ground, clutching his throut. 'It suddenly hits you. There's something dangerous underneath the obelisk. You need to warn the town.'" The description of the strange text is "Multiple lines of text, it's describing exactly what's in this thing. It's in a different language,but I need to know what it means. " Using is an action applying to two things. Understand "use [something] on [something]" as using. After using [something] [something]: if the noun is the Translation stone and the second noun is the strange text, say "The text reads 'We are not proud of what we have done. There is nothing of any value under this stone. Leave immediately. Tell no one of this." [Lab] The Lab is north of Libra's House. The description of the lab is "This is your lab, a place where you have spent many hours studying. It has everything a scientist such as yourself will need. It is your home." There is a bone, insects, bucket, booze-stained letter, and leeches in the lab. The bone, insects, booze-stained letter, and leches are inedible. The description of the bone is "Dogs love this stuff." The description of the insects is "They are preserved in resin." The description of the leeches is "They are used as ailments for cuts." The description of the bucket is "This could be handy in carrying water." The description of the booze-stained letter is "As you open the letter, you stumble, nauseous at what you just saw. The letter is written in your own handwriting, but in blood. 'ChEck Out THe oBeLiSK uP nOrTH' You from last night better not be pulling a prank." [Libra's House] Libra's House is south of the lab. Libra is in Libra's House. Libra is a person. Libra is holding the Pencil. The description of Libra's House is "This is Libra's house. He's your childhood friend. You've stuck with him, and he with you through thick and thin. I should ask him about the obelisk." Instead of asking Libra about "Obelisk", say "Oh that reminds me! Lemme tell you something old pal! I just got promoted to head priest, and get to lead this sick expedition to dig up some cool relics under THE OBELISK IN THE NORTH! Isn't that cool? We're going to unearth all of them" After Warning Libra: say "I've been you friend for a great many years. I don't beleive what you're saying, but I do trust you. I have the authority to cancel this expedition, but I can't save face without some proof. If you can provide the town with some evidence, I will cancel the expedition. The MONK TO THE WEST knows alot. he might know where to start." [Wise Man's Hut] There is a Wise Old Man in the Wise Man's Hut. The Wise Old Man is a person. The Wise Man's Hut is north of the ruined courtyard and south of Libra's house. The Wise Old Man is a person. After talking to someone: if the noun is the monk, say "Oh I see. To solve your problem, you must head read the ancient tests hidden deep UNDER the LIBRARY TO THE EAST. However, to decipher those texts, you need the translation stone UNDER THE MANSION TO THE SOUTH. Go to the MONK TO THE WEST FIRST. That is your priority." [Ruined Courtyard] The Ruined Door is a door. The Ruined door is inside from the Ruined Courtyard and outside from the Kitchen. The Ruined Courtyard is a room. "You notice tons of dead leaves and plants scattered all over. In front of you lies a huge mansion. The door seems unlocked. Perhaps you should try going in." [Kitchen] The Kitchen is a room. "This kitchen looks odd.... The architecture isn't anything like what you see in the houses in your town. Although, you can't say it doesn't look pretty." There is an Old Gun and some Rare Booze in the Kitchen. The Old Gun is inedible. The Kitchen is east from the Bedroom. Instead of eating the Rare Booze, say "This stuff is valuable. (Needs Desc.)" [Bedroom] The Hatch Door is door. The Hatch Door is locked and lockable. The Hatch Key unlocks the Hatch Door. The Hatch door is below the Bedroom and above the Hidden Storage Room. The bedroom is a room. "Wow this bedroom is massive! I wold love to have a room like this... Too bad im too poor." [Hidden Storage Room] The Hidden Storage Room is a room. There is a Translation Stone in the Hidden Storage Room. The description of the Translation Stone is "This stone... It has my language on it. With thousands of others. With this, I can read anything." [Mountain Path] Mountain Path is a room."This mountain is very rough and rocky. Covered with gravel it hurts a bit to walk on. However, the scenery is beautiful." The Mountain Path is west of Libra's House and east of the Mountain Plateau. The river is in the Mountain Path. Water is in the river. Instead of taking the water when the player does not have the bucket: if player does not carry the bucket: Say "I can't take that with my bare hands!"; Stop the action; Otherwise: say "The water is now inside the bucket ."; Now the water is in the bucket. After taking the water: say "The water is now in the bucket". [Mountain Plateau] The Mountain Plateau is below the Mountain Temple and west of the Mountain Path. The Mountain Plateau is a room. "You see a brilliant field here, it filled with vegetation and wildlife, too bad you don't come here often. The Temple in which the monk resides is above you." [Mountain Temple] The Mountain Temple is above the Mountain Plateau. The Mountain Temple is a room."This brilliant temple is made of giant marble pillars towering high into the sky. You see an old monk. You should talk to him about the obelisk." There is a Monk in the Mountain Temple. The Monk is a person. There is a Hatch Key in the Mountain Temple. Instead of asking Monk about "obelisk", say "Ah yes the obelisk. The secrets to the uncovering the truth are indeed the basement of my late great-great-grandfather's mansion. *dangles hatch key in face* But you're going to need this key to unlock the hatch door first. And to give you that, I want some meat." Before giving [something] to the Monk: unless the noun is the meat, instead say "I don't want that"; If the noun is meat, say "Thank you. You can take the key now." After talking to someone: if the noun is the monk, say "Ah yes the obelisk. The secrets to the uncovering the truth are indeed the basement of my late great-great-grandfather's mansion. *dangles hatch key in face* But you're going to need this key to unlock the hatch door first. And to give you that, I want some meat." Instead of Asking Monk about "meat", say "It's at the Farm" Before taking the hatch key: unless the Monk has meat, instead say "Hey! I want my meat." [Farm] The Farm is east of Libra's House and west of The Military Outpost. The Dog is a person. The Dog is in the farm. There is a cow in the farm. There is meat in the cow. The cow is a closed, locked, transparent container Shooting it with is an action applying to two things. Check shooting something with something: if the player is not carrying the Old Gun, say "Sorry, but you can only kill with a gun, or good looks. Sadly, you don't have any of those right now" instead; if the second noun is not the Old Gun, say "Yes, shoot with a [The second noun]. See how that works out for you." instead; if the noun is the Old Gun, say "This isn't Coyote and the Roadrunner. It could possibly have information about the obelisk... but if only there was a way to get through the military tower. Perhaps I should ask the military general about the Library." Instead of talking to Military General, say "You want to go the library eh? Fine, find me some booze...... and I'll think about it." After giving rare booze to Military General: say "Alright fine, I'll give ya access to the Library. Just don't fool around got it?" Instead of asking Military general about "Library", say "You want to go the library eh? Fine, find me some booze...... and I'll think about it." A man called Military General is here. Before going through the military tower when Military General does not have the Rare Booze: If Military General does not have the Rare booze: Say "Hey! you can't enter! Get me what I want!"; Stop the Action; Otherwise: say "you have full access to the library." The Military Tower is a door. The Military Tower is east of the Military Outpost and west of the Library. Before going to the Library: now the description of the military outpost is "You now have full access to the library after bribing the military general." [Library] The Library is a room. "Wow! This Library looks amazing. It's stone architecture is breathtaking and the collection of books! Astonishing! Hm... I should look around to see if any books have any information about the obelisk." The Library is east of the Military Tower. The Hidden Staircase is below the Library and above the Ancient Archives. The Hidden Staircase is a door. There is a Short Story Collection, Guinness Book of World Records and Library Blueprint in the library. The description of the Short Story Collection is "This book contains a variety of short stories including the Possibility of Evil, Stains and Choices. But, it doesn't contain any information about the Obelisk." The description of the Guinness Book of World Records is " Wow! This man could jump 10 meters high! No way! ... What am I doing I should be looking for information about the obelisk." The Library is east of the lab. A man called Priest is in the library. Before going through the hidden staircase when Priest does not have the water: If Priest does not have the water: Say "Holy on!- says the priest, You want to go there? You will first have to get me some sparkling water from the river in the Mountain Path!"; Stop the Action; Otherwise: say "you have full access to the library." The description of the Library Blueprint is "Hm... This blueprint seems to show something below the library but i don't see any doors around here....... Ahah! It must be the hidden staircase listed here. If i just go DOWN I can find the hidden room!" The Short Story Collection, Guinness Book of World Records and Library Blueprint are inedible. [Ancient Archives] The description of the Ancient Archives is "Dusty. You were expecting a lot more from this room, but it only looks as if no one has been here for years." The Ancient Texts are in the Ancient Archives. The description of the Ancient Texts are "THIS IS IT! THIS HOLDS ALL THE PROOF YOU NEED! But, it needs translating. To stop the expedition, you have to give both the translation stone AND the Ancient Texts to Libra." Every Turn: if Libra has the Ancient Texts and Libra has the Translation Stone, say "Oh. OH! There is indeed Nuclear waste under the obelisk. I will cancel the expedition. You are a hero. The lives of many have been saved by your efforts." Every Turn: if Libra has the Ancient Texts and Libra has the Translation Stone, end the game in victory.
