When play begins: say "Note to anyone accessing this from the link: feel free to play if you'd like, but there isn't much going on. This is mostly for testing mechanics and systems I might want to implement elsewhere, but for some reason I can't test-play it unless I publish it between edits." An object can be heavy or not heavy. An object is usually not heavy. The Prison is a dark room. The description of the Prison is "You are in a basement room, locked in what seems to be a hastily constructed [cell]. Through the bars, you can see a [table] with a [lightbulb] on it." The table is in the prison. The table is heavy. The description of the table is "A standard-issue police desk[if the lightbulb is on the table] with a small lightbulb on it.[otherwise]." The lightbulb is on the table. The description of the lightbulb is "A lightbulb." The cell is an enterable transparent container in the Prison. The cell is openable, closed, lockable, locked, heavy, and fixed in place. The matching key of the cell is the jail key. The Player is in the cell. The player is holding the jail key. The flashlight is lit. The player is holding the flashlight. The on button is part of the flashlight. The off button is part of the flashlight. Pushing is an action. Instead of pushing the on button: now the flashlight is lit. Instead of pushing the off button: now the flashlight is not lit. Dancing is an action applying to nothing. Understand "dance" as dancing. Check dancing: say "You were a liberal arts major, not a performing arts major. Keep it that way." instead. Blowing-on is an action applying to one thing. Understand "blow on [something]" as blowing-on. Check blowing-on: if the noun is heavy: say "You're hardly going to blow [the noun] away." instead. else: say "Good job. You moved [the noun] half an inch."
