The Forest is a room. "You are in a forest. Maybe you've never played a text adventure game, so I'll explain. Feel free to take a LOOK. TAKE anything you want. You can go anywhere as well, maybe the CARDINAL DIRECTIONS." In the Forest is a tree. The squirrel is a person. The squirrel is in the tree. In the tree is an acorn. After taking acorn: say "Oh, you found an acorn. Maybe you could ask the squirrel about it to bribe him." Instead of asking the squirrel about "acorn": say "Oh! You have an acorn! What, you want some information for the acorn? Okay, okay. There's food to the west of here. Now gimme!"; award 20 points. Instead of telling the squirrel about something: say "This world is a mess. Why are you telling me this useless information? Go away." The clearing is a room. The clearing is west of the forest. In the clearing are mushrooms and meat. The mushrooms are edible. After eating the mushrooms: say "Didn't your parents tell you to not eat random stuff? The mushrooms were poisoned. Sorry."; end the game in death. The wolf is a person in the clearing. Every turn when the player can see the wolf: say "The wolf barks at you. Calm it down." Instead of telling the wolf about something: say "Maybe you should ask it about something instead." After asking the wolf about "meat": say "The wolf whines. He takes the meat from your hand and points his snout to the East."; award 30 points. The lake is a room. The lake is east of the clearing. In the lake is a boat. In the boat are vegetables and fish. The cat is a person in the boat. Instead of asking the cat about something: say "The cat meows. What did you expect? Maybe try telling the cat something." Instead of telling the cat about "fish": say "The cat runs off to the West. You should probably follow it."; award 40 points. The Cabin is a room. The cabin is west of the lake. In the cabin is a table. On the table are leaves, an apple, and a rusty key. The rusty key unlocks the rusty door. The apple is edible. The Bedroom is a room. In the Bedroom is a bed. Father is a person on the bed. The Rusty door is a door. It is west of the cabin. It is east of the Bedroom. It is locked. Instead of asking Father about something: say "Hey! How did you get in here?!" Instead of telling father about something: say "I put you in the forest! How did you get back?!" After eating the apple: say "HEY! I WANTED THAT APPLE! GET OUT!"; award 10 points. Every turn when in Bedroom: If score is 100 begin; say "You've been disowned by Father. Good job."; end the game in victory; end if.
