"Leaving Springfield" by steve belczyk when play begins: say "You wake up. It is dawn. You are mildly hung over. " Bench is a room. "You are sitting on a park bench. In front of you, immediately to the west, the mighty Connecticut River flows lazily from north to south. The Riverwalk bike path proceeds North and South from here." South is Bottom Of Ramp. North is River Walk Plaza. The bottle is in the Bench. "There is a bottle here." The description of the bottle is "Alas, the bottle is empty." Bottom Of Ramp is a room. "You are at the bottom of a series of paved pedestrian ramps which gently twist Up. A path winds North along the river." Up is East End Of Footbridge. North is Bench. River Walk Plaza is a room. "This a junction along the Riverwalk. Apparently it was intended as an artistic performance venue. The Riverwalk continues to the North. To the East is a small building." North is Under Railroad. West End Of Footbridge is a room. "You stand at the western end of a footbridge which crosses the CSX railroad tracks below. The footbridge continues East and a series of ramps leads down. There are elevator doors here." East is Middle Of Footbridge. Down is Bottom Of Ramp. The UP Button is in the West End Of Footbridge. The DOWN Button is in the West End Of Footbridge. Middle Of Footbridge is a room. "This is the middle of a footbridge across the CSX railroad tracks below. A wire cage covers the bridge, preventing suicidal bums and confused heroine addicts from jumping into the path of an oncoming vessel. The footbridge continues East and West." East is East End Of Footbridge. West is West End Of Footbridge. East End Of Footbridge is a room. "You are at the eastern end of the footbridge over the CSX railroad tracks." West is Middle Of Footbridge.
