"Crash Course" When entire game begins: say "Thump. Thump. Thump. A throbbing sensation thumps in your head, rippling pain every beat. You can barely make out anything in the darkness and your eyes adjust to the light. Every thought you have suddenly drifts away, snatched from your mind. A rotten smell causes you to jolt, you try to move your arms and legs, but a million needles pierce your skin. You slowly move your eyes to look at your limbs, there’s red all over, it oozes from the ravines in your pale white skin. They’re all in unnatural positions, places where things should be straight, others bend the wrong way. A white stick-like thing is protruding out from your disfigured wrist. You look up and you can finally make out something coherent from the sea of darkness. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no. You lay among the chaos around you, metal parts and torn bags and luggage strewn randomly across the ragged dirt stained carpet, velvet seats ripped from their bases. You know where that terrible smell is coming from. You try to shut your eyes and deny it, but the smell rips through like an axe to a door. It takes a couple seconds for you to snap back to reality, and suddenly questions come rushing through your head. Where are you? How did you get here? Why does your entire body hurt? You slowly get up using the strength equivalent to carrying a million mountains and make out the scene in front of you…” The Economy Class Section is a room. “You’re in what seems to be the economy class section of a plane. The normally jam packed seats of the plane are devoid of human life, unless you count a rotting human corpse as your ideal companion. You see a door to the west, and a hallway leading to a room to the northeast, a door to the east, and a room to the southeast.” The Corpse is a supporter in the Economy Class. The description of the Corpse is “It’s your great grandpa Louie! Or it’s just a random rotting corpse, not that there’s much of a difference. A family of bugs found a nice home in its appendix.” The Notebook is an object in the Economy Class. The description of the Notebook is “It’s a slightly bloody notebook. All the pages have been ripped out but one, which reads ‘10/26- we’re going on a plain to see uncle chris!!we r going all the way from vancouvar tio alabama!!!!’ There are several happy faces and a family of stickmen. Seeing this makes you a little sad and makes you want to pummel whoever caused the crash.” The Kitchenette is southeast of the Economy Class The Kitchenette is a room. "You’re in what looks like a kitchen of sorts. The minifridge and drawers are wide open. There is a pile of corpses in the corner, stacked on top of each other like a collapsed cheerleading pyramid. There is a door leading northwest out. A broken window lies on one wall, its warm light fills the room. A way out from this wretched place.” The Counter is a supporter in the Kitchenette. The Kitchenette Page is on the Counter. The description of the Kitchenette Page is “You squint at the slightly messy writing. It reads: god damn it, plane crashed and literally everyones dead. theres no food loaded in the kitchen cause its a short flight, curse my luck. cant really find a way out, so ill have to hold it. never thought id be eating humans but im in a dire situation right now.” The drawer is an open container that is part of the counter. The Toothpicks, and the Spoon are in the drawer. The Pile of Corpses is a supporter in the Kitchenette. The Knife is on the Pile of Corpses. The description of the Pile of Corpses is "A pile of unidentifiable corpses. They seem to be the main course for dinner, which you are definitely looking forward to. A knife sticks out from one of the necks, and it’s angled in a way as if it’s beckoning for you to pick it up.” The description of the Counter is "This is a stainless steel counter, covered in what you hope to be liquid ketchup. You see a page on the counter with the words ‘Kitchen Page’ written on it, and the side of the counter has a drawer with a spoon and some toothpicks.” The description of the Knife is "This ominous butcher knife with blood all over it looks straight out of a low budget Halloween movie. It seems sharp enough to cut through anything, from human flesh to rope.” The description of the Toothpicks is "These off-brand toothpicks appear clean. You can poke your gums out and pick locks! It’s a two for one deal at the low price of supposed theft.” The description of the Spoon is "It’s an ordinary metal spoon alright. Not sure how much use it would be if you’re not eating yogurt though.” The mini-fridge is an open container in the Kitchenette. The description of the mini-fridge is "It’s a good quality minifridge with nothing in it, so it’s not very useful unless you happen to eat fridges.” The Window is a locked door. The Window is scenery. The Window is unlocked by the Rope. The Window is south of the Kitchenette and north of the Victory. The description of the Window is “An open window that has a crack suspiciously shaped like you. You peer outside and see that it’s too high to realistically jump out of. Maybe you could find something to climb down with…” Every turn: if the player is in the Victory: say "You climb out the window and slowly make your way down the rope...freedom at last. Although you're not sure you want to live after finding out what happened...what you did..."; end the game in victory. The Victory is a room. The Bathroom is a room. “You’re in a washroom that looks beyond repair. From the smashed toilet to the dried blood covering the walls, it’s surely seen better days. The leaking water from a tap plays a rhythmic tune as it hits the cracked sink, breaking the silence of the eerily dead room, and the nearly caved window blocking off light doesn’t help either. There is a door leading southwest out of the bathroom.” The Bathroom is northeast of the Economy Class The Toilet is a supporter in the Bathroom. The Caved Window is a supporter in the Bathroom. The Bathroom Page is on the Caved Window. The description of Caved Windows is “Although it’s mostly caved in, you peer through the bit that is allowing light in and see that the wing area of the plane has been completely obliterated. No wonder the plane crashed, you can’t fly well without a wing. On the side of the window you see a page taped on with the words ‘Bathroom Page’ written in large letters.” The description of the Bathroom Page is “You get near the note and focus on the text written on the note. ‘found a dead body here, was taking a smoke or something. theres a lighter in the sink which im not touching, but theres a nice bottle of ibuprofen with 4 tablets left. i downed that thing down whole. theres a window here and the plane wing was destroyed completely. im going to murder the guy who did it, i saw him outside putting the bomb in.” The description of the Toilet is “This toilet is cracked and the water tank is completely smashed. Somebody forgot to flush and you’re trying hard not to puke.” The Sink is a supporter in the Bathroom The description of Sink is “This sink is both broken and dirty, with the tap leaking into a bloody puddle and gunk in every conceivable crevice." The Cabinet is a closed openable container in the Bathroom. The cabinet contains the Empty Pill Bottle, and the Toilet Paper. The description of the Cabinet is “This plastic drug cabinet is half-open, and from what you can see, it has a pill bottle and a roll of toilet paper in it.” The description of the Empty Pill Bottle is “This pill bottle has a label saying ‘Ibuprofen Pills.’ Would be really helpful right now with your roaring headache, but it’s empty.” The description of the Toilet Paper is “It’s a roll of rough toilet paper. Even on a luxury plane you cannot escape discount sandpaper.” The Metal Door is a closed locked door. The Metal Door is scenery. The Metal Door is unlocked by the Toothpicks. The description of the Metal Door is "A tall sturdy door locked with a simple padlock. You could probably use a hair pin or something similar to unlock it." The Metal Door is east of the Economy Class and west of the Tail Room The Tail Room is a room. "You find yourself in a dorm room of sorts which you guess was for the flight crew. It’s surprisingly clean and tidy compared to the rest of the plane.” The Bunk Bed is a supporter in the Tail Room. "There is a bunk bed against one of the walls." The description of the Bunk Bed is "This bunk bed appears to be made out of lightweight but sturdy metal tubing. You’re resisting the urge to jump on it.” The Uniform is on the Bunk Bed. The Uniform is wearable. Instead of wearing the uniform: say "This Uniform doesn’t really fit that well, but you put it on anyways. You look snazzy, but sadly this isn’t a fashion show.” The description of the uniform is "This uniform is for one of the female flight attendants, pristinely cleaned and ironed as a spare outfit. You could try to wear it if you’re into that type of stuff…” The Key Card is on the Bunk Bed. The description of the Key Card is "This is a key card, probably used to unlock a door somewhere on the plane.” The Business Class is a room. “This room appears to be a slightly nicer section of the plane, with onboard entertainment systems and cushy seats. Mind you, all of the screens are smashed into scintillating spiderwebs of cracks and discarded possessions litter the floor, so this isn’t exactly a luxury flight anymore. There is a door to the east and a door to the west, as well as a trapdoor leading downwards." The Pile of Bones is a supporter in the Business Class. The Business Class Page is on the Pile of Bones. The description of the Pile of Bones is “It’s a pile of bones. There is no meat on the bones, as if they were treated like a bunch of BBQ rib-eye steak. Underneath a bone is a note with the words ‘Business Class Page’ written on it.” The description of the Business Class Page is “You read the note. ‘im just gonna pile all those bones in this place, not like theres much around here. theres a couple corpses here, one of them looks like the culprit of crashing the plane. id strangle it buts its a dead corpse, cant kill whats already dead. i just piled all the corpses over by the economy section.’ Underneath you see a tally number with the title ‘number of corpses eaten.’ It makes you sick.” The Business Class is west of the Economy Class. The Trapdoor is a closed locked door. The Trapdoor is Scenery. The Trapdoor is unlocked by the Knife. "It's a Trapdoor leading downwards. There's some rope which you could probably cut with a sturdy knife." The Underground Storage Room is a room. “Through the dark, you can make out that you’re in a storage room of sorts. The place has several boxes and luggage crates around the area. You can see a pile of heavy metal chains and an open suitcase on the floor.” The Metal Chains is an object in the Underground Storage Room. The Suitcase is a supporter in the Underground Storage Room. The Sunscreen and Underground Storage Room Page is on the Suitcase. The description of the Suitcase is “It’s a shiny red suitcase that has been left open on the floor. It’s nearly empty, only containing a note with the words ‘Underground Storage Room Page’ on it and a bottle of sunscreen.” The description of the Sunscreen is “It’s a bottle of Banana Boat sunscreen with SPF 30. You’re currently stuck in a plane with barely any sunlight, so you won’t be needing this for anything.” The description of the Underground Storage Room Note is “You kneel down and scan the note. ‘found the storage area of this place, filled with a bunch of crates and luggage cages i cant even get open. found one without a lock and its filled with some good stuff, dont need the sunscreen though.’” The description of the Metal Chains is “It’s a pile of metal chains. Unless you have a giant box with a rabid three-headed dog, it’s just a liability to carry around.” The Trapdoor is above the Underground Storage Room and below the Business Class. The White Door is a closed locked door. The Key Card unlocks the White Door. The White Door is west of the Business Class The Cockpit is a room. “The cockpit of the plane is buried in earth, obscuring the outside. A gaping hole in the windshield reveals a tunnel into the ground to the southwest and there is a door into the business section to the east.” The Pilot Corpse is a supporter in the Cockpit. The description of the Pilot Corpse is “It’s the corpse of the pilot. Not much else to say. At this point, you’ve seen so many surreal things that this doesn’t disturb you in the slightest.” The Cockpit is west of the White Door. The Bunker Entrance is a room. “This hole in the ground appears to have been dug out by hand, and features some supplies someone must have collected. A curtain covers the entrance to another room to the south, and the cockpit is to the northeast." The Bunker Entrance is southwest of the Cockpit The Bunker Interior is a room. “This room contains a makeshift desk, some rope, and other junk. The door to the bunker is to the north.” The Bunker Interior is south of the Bunker Entrance The Desk is a supporter in the Bunker Interior. The description of the Desk is “It’s a makeshift desk with notebook pages and a pen on it. You probably shouldn’t be taking other people’s stuff if they’re right in front of you…” The Rope is an object in the Bunker Interior. The description of the Rope is “It’s a sturdy piece of rope, similar to the one that tied the storage room shut. You could probably use it to climb something.” Fight is a scene. Fight begins when the player is in the Bunker Interior. The Survivor is a person in the Bunker Interior. When Fight begins: Say “A blurry shape jumps at you from behind! A glint of steel flashes before your eyes as you dodge backwards, then shove forwards and knock the person to the ground. The machete slides off to the side as the survivor glares up at you with murderous intensity. You’re wary about killing them but given the way they’re staring at you, you take your chances and jump onto him, choking him until he gives away and surrenders. You take your hands off him and he backs away into the corner. You can ask him about the crash, about survivor, about me, or about the corpses." Every turn when the player can see the Survivor: say “[one of]The survivor glares at you menacingly[or]The survivor stares at you with murderous intensity[or]The survivor stares at a wall of the room[or]The survivor kicks a bone across the room[or]The survivor sharpens his machete[or]The survivor plays with a pen in his fingers[at random]." After asking the Survivor about "Crash", say “You blew the wing up! You explode the engine of a plane and kill dozens of people and you can’t even remember! Bah!” After asking the Survivor about "Survivor", say “Me? I’m just a simple man. I’ve done some bad things but that’s not who I am. You however - You’re a devil.” After asking the Survivor about "Me", say “You’re a monster, putting a bomb in a public plane. An absolute monster.” After asking the Survivor about "Corpses", say “All you. Your kills if that's what makes you happy.”
