"Nepenthe" by Kae Rule for printing the banner text: say "Welcome." instead. Going by name is an action applying to one thing. Carry out going by name: say "You walk to [the noun]."; move the player to the noun. North is a direction. The opposite of North is South. South is a direction. The opposite of South is North. East is a direction. The opposite of East is West. West is a direction. The opposite of West is East. When play begins: say "There is beautiful water feature in the center of the Arts District, with plenty of seating around the fountain. Flowers adorn every step, golden, pouring out onto the stones. There is, as always, the distant sound of the Minister's Flutes... Any minute now the nuns playing would wander through the streets, playing to announce nightfall. This fountain is the one you see on postcards of Orphery. You know you must be indoors by curfew, and taking the time to stop and admire the fountain may be unwise; after all, you've never been to Cafe Nepenthe before. Hardly know where it is; only that it's entrance is tucked amongst the mazes and tunnels of The Arts District, hidden from authorities and the prying eyes of straight society." There is a region called The Arts District. The Center is a room. "The center of the arts district focus on the communal worship and care of the ancient stone fountain." Alley Nepenthe and The Center are in The Arts District. There is a thing called a Signpost in The Center. "A signpost beside it points to the ccarinal directions - might be worth looking at more closely." A description of the signpost is "West: Alley Nepenthe. East: Orpherium. North: Botanical District. South: Maqaresue District." There is a room called Alley Nepenthe. "A courtyard that joins the apartment buildings together, closed off but for one narrow alley easily missed by the non-discerning. The sloping walkway, unassuming but for the gentle glow of the string lights wrapped around it's metal handrails, descend to an entrance platform." There is a closed door called the red door. The red door is east of Cafe Nepenthe. Cafe Nepenthe is a room. "A beautiful place." Alley Nepenthe is east of The Center. The red door is west of Alley Nepenthe.
