When entire game begins: say "As you approach the gate to the castle, you pause and take a deep breath. You have been waiting for this moment for a long time. " [Entrance Way] The Entrance Way is a room. "You stand before a large iron gate, leading north into the dark interior of the castle." Here is a large iron gate. It is fixed in place. [Courtyard] North of entrance way is the Courtyard. The Courtyard is a room. In the Courtyard is a torch and a chest. "You are in large open courtyard, surrounded by high stone walls. A somber looking forest can be seen to the north just past a tall iron gate, whose doors cling weakly to the wall with rusted, crooked hinges. Torchlight flickers off the stone walls, dimly illuminating the space. You see doors to the east and west." A chest is in the courtyard. A chest is an object. The description of the chest is "A heavy brass chest sits against the north wall." Chest is a fixed in place closed openable container. Inside the chest is a laptop. A torch is an object in the courtyard. A torch is an object. The description of the torch is "The torch burns brightly, casting off light in every direction."
