Understand "TARDIS console" as console. The description of the console is "You have no inkling of how to understand, let alone drive, this nonsense. The box is an openable, closed container. The description of the box is "A small, dusty leather container sits underneath the console. [if the player is carrying the sledgehammer and the bell is switched on]It is unlocked.[otherwise]You can't open it or find any discernible keyhole.[end if]". The description of the book is "It's surprisingly new-looking despite having been in such an ancient box. The title is 'Circular Gallifreyan for Dummies, 2059 Edition'. The left lever is a device in the TARDIS. The left lever is switched off. The left lever is fixed in place. Instead of examining or switching on or switching off the left lever when the player is not carrying the book, say "You need to figure out what it does first.". "You switch the left lever off and the right lever on. You are now in the PAST. The TARDIS appears unchanged--but, suddenly, with a hiss and a moaning noise, the lights dim as the power dies. The FUTURE is a room. "You switch the left lever on and the right lever off. You are now in the FUTURE. Lights flash around you brilliantly in a potentially seizure-inducing frenzy as people of wildly different species and races mill about around you. A flamboyant-looking man wearing a blue military jacket seems to be the life of the party. An uncoordinated-looking man wearing far too much tweed for his age and a red bow-tie approaches you." The Doctor is a man in The 51st Century. Understand "Doctor" as the Doctor. After doing something to the Doctor: say "John! What a treat to see you again. Now listen: it just so turns out that my friend Jack here decided to play a prank on me and hide my TARDIS...you wouldn't happen to know where it is, would you? You do? Brilliant! I am so sorry to put you through all this, though; here's a jammy dodger for your trouble."; end the game in victory.
