The portal is east of the lair. It is scenery. The Field is east of the portal."[if the Field is unvisited]You appear in an emerald field dotted with golden flowers. On the ground is a plank ripped from the caravan.[otherwise if the Field is visited]You walk to the familiar emerald field." The plank is fixed in place in the Field.It is scenery.On the plank is a Announcement and a Flower Bundle. The description of Flower Bundle is "A nice assortment of colorful flowers." The description of Announcement is "ALL HEROES NEEDED IN STARKKEEP, NORTH OF THE DARK DIVIDE." After taking Announcement: say "That must be the cavern I just came from, I need to head north." After asking the GateKeeper about "Announcement", say "Oh, so you're one of the bumbling idiots being serious about the king's 'request'. I'm going to need to see the announcement before I let you in." The Gate is a closed, locked, openable door. The Gate is north of the Entrance. It is scenery. Instead of showing the announcement to the gatekeeper: now the gate is open; say "Alright now that I have proof, go in before I change my mind." The Market is north of the Gate."You walk into a town square with multi-color booths set up everywhere. The castle stands far into the distance." The Vance Staffs is east of the market." You come into a store with staffs all along the wall.Shapes and sizes vary.The man behind the counter is large, but wears a friendly smile. There is a shiny ice staff in a display case across the room." The Bob Vance is a man in the Vance Staffs. Instead of showing the coupon to the Bob Vance: now the Display Case is open; say "Pleasure doing business with you!" After asking the Bob Vance about "Coupon", say "Hello, Bob Vance, Vance Staffs, here we specialize in Ice Staffs! My coupons are free for one free Ice Staff!" The Display Case is fixed in place in the Vance Staffs. It is scenery. The Display Case is a closed, locked, openable container. In the Display Case is a Ice Staff. The description of Ice Staff is "A Sturdy, Birch Staff." The Tavern is west of the Market."You walk into a warm room crowded with people. You spot the long counter of the bar with a friendly woman behind it.You wonder if she has a room available." The Bar Tender is a woman in the Tavern. After asking the Bar Tender about "Room", say "I have an open room, 10 gold a night." Instead of showing the Gold to the bar tender: now the inn door is open; say "Have a nice night." The BedRoom is north of the Inn Door. The Inn Door is north of the Tavern. The Inn Door is a closed, locked, openable door. It is scenery. The Bed is fixed in place in the BedRoom. It is scenery. The description of the Bed is "Looks comfy, but it's no time to sleep." The counter is fixed in place in the BedRoom. It is scenery. On the counter is a key. The cabinet is a part of the counter. In the cabinet is a Tablet. The Castle is north of the market."[if the crucible is unvisited]The elegant pearl castle stands gracefully still against the wind.[otherwise if the crucible is visited]The once pearl white structure is stained with ash and broken in pieces as fire rages from it's top." The Throne Room is north of the Castle. The Prince Neerum is a man in the Throne Room. Every turn when the player can see the Prince Neerum: say "[if the Crucible is unvisited]The Prince paces nervously around dining table.[otherwise if the Crucible is visited]The Prince lies on the floor dead." The King Baldruuf is a man in the Throne Room. Every turn when the player can see the King Baldruuf: say "[if the Crucible is unvisited]The King sits on his throne admiring his beautiful castle.[otherwise if the Crucible is visited] The King laughs and throws knives at the Prince's body. You should ask about the explosion." The Courtyard is west of the castle. The Princess Aryne is a woman in the Courtyard. After asking the Princess Aryne about "Quest", say "I would really love some flowers for my garden." The garden, the statue, and the bird are fixed in place in the Courtyard. Every turn when the player can see the Princess Aryne: say "[if the crucible is unvisited]The Princess admires [a random fixed in place thing which is in the location][otherwise if the crucible is visited]The Princess is balled up in a corner of her burning garden crying. I don't think she wants to talk." Instead of showing the Flower Bundle to the Princess Aryne: award 15 points; say "Thank you!" Instead of showing the Announcement to the Princess Aryne: say "[if Throne Room is unvisited] So, you're here to meet my father? Better make a good impression ;).[otherwise if Throne Room is visited]Are you asking me for help on a quest? Better stick to going solo, but see me when you get back.[otherwise if the Crucible is visited]Oh thank Aethre you're here, he's inside, in the Throne Room." After asking the King Baldruuf about "Announcement", say "Oh, I guess you've heard about my request, I need a real hero with a weapon of sorts. A staff or sword would do." Instead of showing the Staff to the King Baldruuf: award 10 points; say "Wonderful! Now for your first quest I need to you sneak into the Bandit Palace and assassinate the Bandit Prince. Stealth is key to this quest so make sure you don't waltz through the front door. There's an old Servant Tunnel you can use to the east of the main entrance." Instead of showing the Sword to the King Baldruuf: award 10 points; say "Wonderful! Now for your first quest I need to you sneak into the Bandit Palace and assassinate the Bandit Prince. Stealth is key to this quest so make sure you don't waltz through the front door. There's an old Servant Tunnel you can use to the east of the main entrance." The Bandit Palace is east of the field. The description of Bandit Palace is "An ash gray castle stands in front of you." The PalaceGate is north of the Bandit Palace. The PalaceGate is a locked door.It is scenery. The Servant Tunnel is east of the Bandit Palace. The description of Servant Tunnel is "A dark old servant tunnel." The Crucible is north of the Servant Tunnel. The description of Crucible is "High above the Bandit Prince you stand on the rafters with a chandelier held up by a thin rope over him." The Rope is a device in the Crucible.The rope is fixed in place.The Rope is switched off. Carry out switching on the Rope: say "The chandelier falls and crushes the Bandit Prince below.Before the Prince dies you hear him yell, 'You can't stop it, it's already done.'You hear a giant explosion in the distance,and the Prince until he eventually chokes and falls over dead.You should check out the explosion."; award 100 points. Carry out switching off the Rope: say "Nothing Happened." After asking the King about "Explosion": say "The Bandit's were only pawns, you fool, I was the brain behind it all.Your sword hums in your hand as if it's waiting to be turned on." Carry out switching on the Sword: say "[if crucible is visited]You fling your sword at the Evil King and he falls over dead, muttering demonic curses at you as he crumples.[otherwise if Crucible is unvisited] Nothing Happens."; end the game in victory;
