"Missing Pen at School" by Tristan Scharfenstein - Montgomery When play begins: say "It is 3:30 on a Friday afternoon. You got done with all your classes and you realize that your new pen is missing. Your mom just got you a new pen for your Birthday last week. She says it is a special pen and never to lose it. You have to find your missing pen." The description of the Player is "You're an 11th grader at Punahou school. You are 6ft. 8 boy that has a scholarship for basketball to Duke." Mamiya is a room. "Mamiya is a giant science building. Pauahi Hall is to the west of Mamiya. Alexander is to the north of Mamiya." Pauahi is a room. It is west of Mamiya and south of Window. "Pauahi is an old looking english building with a dome at the top of it." Dome is a scenery in Pauahi. The description of the Dome is "A big blue and yellow dome at the top of Pauahi." Instead of taking dome: say "you can't lift it because you can't reach it." Bingham is a room. Bingham is west of Alexander and east of wooden door. "Bingham is a math building. To the west of Bingham is your classroom, but since school is over the wooden door is locked. Your teacher's office is in cooke hall. It has the key to the classroom." Bingham 102 is a room. "Your math classroom with your special pen, desks, chairs, and a window that faces Pauahi." Desk is a scenery in Bingham 102. The description of the Desk is "A regular looking wooden desk." Instead of taking desk: say "you shouldn't mess with things in the classroom." Chair is a thing in Bingham 102. The description of the chair is "A metal chair." The window is north of Pauahi and south of Bingham 102. The window is a door. The window is closed and openable. The description of the window is "The window is closed but looks like it could be breakable. It looks out to Pauahi." Instead of opening window: if the player is carrying the chair: say "You hit the window with the metal chair and it shatters."; Now the description of the window is "The window is now broken and you can go through it to Pauahi."; Now the window is open; if the player is not carrying the chair: say "You need something to break the window." Maximum score is 60. After player opening window: increase score by 10; say "You found your way out, now go home." Maximum score is 60. After taking special pen when the special pen is not handled: increase score by 20; say "Good job you found your pen. But you the door accidentally locked and it can only be unlocked from the outside. Find a different way out." Special pen is a thing in Bingham 102. The description of special pen is "It is a regular pen with a clicker." Understand "Click [something]" as clicking. Clicking is an action applying to one thing. Sword is a thing. Maximum score is 60. Instead of clicking the Pen: say "You click the pen and it turns into a sword."; increase score by 20; move sword to player; move special pen to trash. The wooden door is east of Bingham 102 and west of Bingham. The wooden door is a door. The wooden door is lockable and locked. The silver key unlocks the wooden door. The description of the wooden door is "A plain wooden door that is blue." Staircase is a door. It is north of Alexander and south of Cookehall. The staircase is an open door. The staircase is not openable. The description of staircase is "A stone staircase that leads up to Cookehall." Cookehall is a room. It is north of staircase. "Cookehall is an older looking building and your teachers office is north of it." CH-201 is a room. It is north of Cookehall. "CH-202 is your math teacher's office." Maximum score is 60. After taking the silver key when silver key is not handled: increase score by 10; say "Good job for getting key, now go get your pen." Endo is a male person in CH-201. The description of Endo is "Your math teacher that is very tall, asian looking." Instead of asking Endo about "silver key": say "Sure go ahead, take the key. Just bring it back when you are done." Silver key is a thing in CH-201. The silver key unlocks the wooden door. The description of the silver key is "A plain silver key that unlocks the door to your classroom." Alexander is a room. It is south of staircase and north of Mamiya and east of Bingham. "Alexander is a place to go talk to your deans or get a late slip in case you are late to a class." Trash is a room. After player taking special pen: move silver key to trash; say "you misplaced the key and the door is locked. Find a different way out." After going to Mamiya from Pauahi: if player has special pen begin; say "You have won the game but your teacher is mad at you for not bringing back his key. And no one knows you broke the window, so you are all clear."; end the game in Victory; end if.
