"Alternian Forest" by twistedApocalypse

The open field is a room. "You are in the middle of a field. To the West, the field continues, to the South there is a river, to the North and East there is a forest; however, the forest is too dense in the East."

The block giving rule is not listed in the check giving it to rules.

North of open field is dense forest. Dense Forest is a room. "You have come to the start of the forest. There are two paths, to the East, a clear path that remains close to the edge of the forest. To the North, an overgrown path, leading deeper into the forest, you can hear voices down this path." In the dense forest is a rusty key.

East of dense forest is blocked path. Blocked path is a room. "There is nothing of interest in this room, besides a gate." Here is a gate. Gate is a fixed in place closed container. "You cannot cross the gate, there is no where to go."

North of dense forest is boy's clearing. Boy's clearing is a room. Here is a man called Karkat. "There is an upset looking boy, who you know to be named Karkat, as he is a friend of yours, here. You see a stone table with a chest on it, the lock looks like the zodiac sign for cancer if you look at it too long. On the other side of the clearing is a gate." Here is a table. On table is chest. Chest is a fixed in place closed openable lockable locked container. Inside chest is gold key. The matching key of chest is the rusty key. Instead of asking Karkat about "chest": say "'Oh, you need a key for that. Check in the dense forest, I might have dropped one.'" There is a room called boy's clearing. There is a room called dig site. Wooden gate is a door. Wooden gate is east of boy's clearing and west of dig site. Wooden gate is closed. Wooden gate is lockable and locked. The matching key of wooden gate is the gold key.

East of wooden gate is dig site. Dig site is a room. Here is a woman called Aradia. "Upon entering this room, the first thing you notice is the crater in the middle of it. There is a young girl sitting in the crater, who's name you know is Aradia, another one of your friends. On the other side of the clearing there is another gate." Here is a wooden chest. Wooden chest is a fixed in place closed openable container. Inside wooden chest is copper key. Instead of examining wooden chest: say "The chest seems to be made of rotting wood, and you are a little afraid to touch it, as it has Aradia's symbol on it. Try asking her about it." Instead of asking Aradia about "wooden chest": say "'I haven't locked it, so you can open it if you want.' You can also try asking her about the forest or Karkat." Instead of asking Aradia about "forest": say "'Isn't it beautiful? They say a dragon lives here but no one's ever gotten deep enough in to find out if that's true or not.'" Instead of asking Aradia about "Karkat": say "'Oh that grouch? Don't mind him, he's always a bit crabby~!'" Instead of examining stone gate: say "Upon closer inspection the stone gate appears to have a design on it, reminiscent of a clock face." There is a room called dig site. There is a room called cat's cradle. Stone gate is a door. Stone gate is south of dig site and north of cat's cradle. Stone gate is closed. Stone gate is lockable and locked. The matching key of stone gate is the copper key. 

South of stone gate is cat's cradle. Cat's cradle is a room. Here is a woman called Nepeta. Here is a cat. "There are a couple of cats lounging around the room, but your attention is drawn to the large white one standing next to your friend, Nepeta." Here is a ceramic pot. Ceramic pot is a container. Inside ceramic pot is silver key. Here is a gold chest. Gold chest is a fixed in place closed openable lockable locked container. Inside gold chest is metal key. The matching key of gold chest is the silver key.  Instead of examining cat: say "The cat rubs up against your side and you reach over and scratch behind its ears, causing it to purr." Instead of examining ceramic pot: say "The pot seems to be crudely painted with a cat design, probably done by Nepeta." Instead of examining gold chest: say "The chest is in the vague shape of a cat's head, odd." Instead of examining fairy gate: say "The gate seems to glow, as if holding back a magic force." There is a room called cat's cradle. There is a room called magic clearing. Fairy gate is a door. Fairy gate is west of cat's cradle and east of magic clearing. Fairy gate is closed. Fairy gate is lockable and locked. The matching key of fairy gate is the metal key. 

West of fairy gate is magic clearing. Magic clearing is a room. Here is a man called Eridan. "In this room, the light is different, it seems to come from the stones around you instead of from above. A boy you do not know personally but know to be called Eridan from talking to Karkat, sits on top of one of the stones, reading a book. Try asking him about various things in the clearing." Here is hollow book. Hollow book is a closed openable container. Inside hollow book is platinum key. Here is a stone chest. Stone chest is a fixed in place closed openable lockable locked container. Inside stone chest is a card key and a paper. The matching key of stone chest is platinum key. Instead of examining paper: say "'I don't see why you're so invested in my stuff,' Eridan grumbles. The paper happens to be a photo of Eridan, standing with another girl. The girl smiles wide, but Eridan looks less than pleased." Instead of asking eridan about "hollow book": say "'It's not really anything important, don't bother with it.'" Instead of asking eridan about "stone chest": say "'I don't see why it's any of your business.'" Instead of asking eridan about "glowing gate": say "'That's how you get out of this stupid forest, don't you know.'" There is a room called magic clearing. There is a room called bedroom. Glowing gate is a door. Glowing gate is south of magic clearing and north of bedroom. Glowing gate is closed. Glowing gate is lockable and locked. The matching key of glowing gate is card key.

South of glowing gate is bedroom. Bedroom is a room. Here is a woman called Roxy. "Once you pass through the glowing gate, you are suddenly back in your bedroom. Your best friend Roxy gives you a high five, 'You finished that in record time dude!'" Here is a laptop. Instead of examining laptop: say "The screen flashes white text on a black background that says game over, the game was created by Roxy, and you will both go on to become famous in the coming years."; end the game in victory.
