The maximum score is 100. The Holodeck is a room. "You are the last and youngest crew on the ship, bottom of the food chain. You need to get to your training in time or else the boss, Captain Rikah, will not be easy on you. Somehow you ended in the holodeck and you need to find your way to the training. If you won't be there in 20 minutes all your dreams of ever commanding a spaceship are gone for good. Holodeck is a cubic, empty space that doesn't even seem to have walls, just a bright, fluorescent equidistant grid on all six sides. You can't have a measure of its capacity; you can see it either very small or huge, depending what's in your mind when you look around. Up is the vortex, or so they told you. East is the main hallway, you came in that way." The red lantern is in the holodeck. The description is "The lantern gives a strange, red color that passes straight through the holodeck grid and goes forever, lost in the infinite perspective. It gives you a strange feeling, not quite fear but definitely a reticence to touch it." The red lantern unlocks the forcefield. Understand "Lantern" as red lantern. After taking the lantern: say "It can unlock the forcefield."; say "Well, nothing bad happened; not sure what that strange feeling was when I had to pick it up."; increase the score by 1; The chocolate bar is in the holodeck. The description is "This chocolate looks indeed very tempting but you need to keep your weight in shape to work on this spaceship. They regularly check that you are fit and if not, you will be put on a diet and even stricter cardio training. Not a good idea, but can you resist?" Understand "chocolate" as chocolate bar. After taking the chocolate: say "Oh, no, you caved in..."; decrease the score by 1; The vortex is a room. The description is "When you get in there, a huge wind hits you and your head is spinning. You cannot seem to be able to breath into this space, yet you are still alive, or so it seems, since you can sense your thoughts." Every turn: if Location is vortex begin; say "Yayyy, you made it! Training begins and now you won the game :):)"; increase the score by 50; end the game in victory; end if. A forcefield is a lockable and locked door. The forcefield is up from the holodeck and down from the vortex. The matching key is the red lantern. The initial appearance of forcefield is "Up at the entrance to the vortex there is [if the forcefield is locked] something you cannot see, but definitely feel if you approach. You need to pick up the red lantern to pass through.[else]nothing you can feel, so the passage seems safe. [end if]" Commander Rikah is a man in the holodeck. "Commander Rikah will follow each and every move you make. He is very careful so you don't get hurt or do something stupid and damage the ship." The description of Commander Rihak is "Commander Rihak is an old officer that spend nearly all his life on spaceships, except short stings on Earth during vacations." Understand "Commander" as Commander Rikah. Every turn: if Commander is not visible begin; move Commander to the location of the player; say "Commander is checking each and every of your steps."; end if. The main hallway is a room. The description is "This is a narrow and barren space that goes in a circular shape. Nothing aestethical about it; a pleasant, impersonal, utilitarian space, built to optimize traffic and minimize noises." Understand "hallway" as main hallway. The purple glove is in the main hallway. The description is "A purple glove sits on the dull grey carpet on the hallway. Someone must have dropped it not very long ago. The cleaning crew is like clockwork; not an hour passes without them attending to the purity of everything." Understand "glove" as purple glove. After taking the glove, say "It has a smell of violets that evoke a spring shower in the forests." A sliding door is a door. The sliding door is east from the holodeck and west from the main hallway. The initial appearance of sliding door is "[if the location is holodeck]Slight change in the hue of the grid light indicates the exit, or the entrance - you came in through that one. [else] To the west you can see two neatly concealed panes of sliding doors with a label on one of them reading HOLODECK 1.[end if]†The Space Bar is a room. The description is "This is the most beloved public area on the spaceship. People come here to have a chat and forget about the stress of the day, or even that they roam the galaxies. Don't expect alcohol here; it is strictly against the regulations. Fruit cocktails, soft drinks, jazz, lots of good conversation." Understand "bar" as Space Bar. A bar door is a door. The bar door is east from the main hallway and west from the Space Bar. The initial appearance of the bar door is "[if the location is main hallway]A door on the inside of the circle is no different than the door to the holodeck, except that labeled SPACE BAR. [else] To the west you can guess a door by the sign above it, but it otherwise it blends discreetly with the calm interior. You came here through that one, remember?[end if]†Every turn: if Location is Space Bar begin; say "Hmm... not a good choice. You were supposed to get to your training, not to relax in the Space Bar..."; decrease the score by 2; end if. At 9:05 AM: if location of player is not vortex begin; say "You need to train for that black hole travel into another universe. You need to enter the vortex for training. Time is precious!"; end if. At 9:10 AM: if location of player is not vortex begin; say "You REALLY need to get that training done, or else the Commander will fire you."; end if. At 9:20 AM: if location of player is not vortex begin; say "Well, you did it. No training, the Commander is not going to give you any other chances.
