The Outside Front Door is a room. The South yard is a room. The South yard is south of the Outside Front Door. The Doormat is in Outside Front Door. The description of the doormat is "An ordinary doormat." Understand "mat" as the doormat. A note is on the doormat. The description of the note is "The note reads, 'The chicken hides the spare.'" A plaster chicken is in the South yard. The plaster chicken is a closed openable container. A key is in the plaster chicken. When play begins, say "You're reached your home, but it seems that you've forgotten your key." Instead of doing something to the doormat for the first time: say "You find a note under the doormat and pick it up."; move the note to the player.
